Lacie Lujan is an associate attorney with Mountain West Law® in Salt Lake City, Utah. She received her Juris Doctor degree in 2018 from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Simultaneously, while attending law school, Ms. Lujan obtained a Master of Science in Legal Administration. During law school Ms. Lujan had a strong interest in researching, drafting, and advising.

Ms. Lujan has a particular interest in business law and helping people with business formations as she grew up working in her mom’s small business. This led her to a career in assisting business owners with growing and expanding their unique business ideas by franchising and other business ventures. She also enjoys assisting franchisees with matters related to their franchise business.

Education

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Lujan worked her way through college at the University of Utah and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development. She also received a minor in International Studies and Consumer and Community studies. During her time at the University of Utah, Ms. Lujan was a member of Phi Eta Sigma National Honors Society and Kapp Omicron Nu National Honors Society.

Professional Experience

Prior to joining Mountain West Law®, Ms. Lujan completed an externship with Gleason Wells, PC in Denver, Colorado. While there she was involved in international cases related to theft of property, ethical violations, and proper service in the European Union. She also assisted with matters related to non-competition agreements.

Ms. Lujan also participated in the Wills Lab at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where she was able to consult, advise, and draft estate documents for clients.

Personal Life

In her free time, Lacie loves hanging out with her husband, Jesse, and their dog, Lola, and cat, Trixie. She enjoys spending time outdoors including going for tandem bike rides, walking her dog, gardening, and camping. She also loves to travel and hopes to visit each continent.
